On Wednesday 29 June, in collaboration with the Duurzame Logistiek programme, the Platform Agrologistiek organized a workshop on ‘Lean and Green Awards in the agro-food sector’, which took place at Connekt. This interactive workshop showed how sustainable logistics contributes to the profitability and sustainability of the company. A number of Lean and Green Award winners introduced themselves with a presentation, and explained about the requirements to qualify for the Lean and Green Award. The workshop has provided space for sharing knowledge and experiences with fellow companies. By the end of the workshop, many organizations knew whether they would be eligible for the Lean and Green Award and if so, what they would need to do.
